Download PDFTo prepare the meatballs, mix together the cooked quinoa, minced turkey or chicken, egg, garlic and all the spices. Season with salt and pepper. Form into golf ball-sized meatballs.
Roll the meatballs in the sesame seeds and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Heat the oil in a fryer to 180°C.
Fry the sesame-coated meatballs until browned and cooked through – about 5-8 minutes.
To make the tahini sauce, combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix until smooth.
Serve the meatballs with the tahini sauce and fresh basil.
