Texas BBQ sauce

- Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is soft and translucent. Add the tomato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes before adding the remaining ingredients to the pan at the same time. Bring the sauce to a gentle boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once done, remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.
- Using an immersion blender, blitz the sauce until completely smooth.
- Store in the fridge for upto 2 weeks.
