Download PDFPreheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
If your bread isn’t a few days old, toast the slices until lightly golden brown.
Slice the garlic and rub both sides of the bread with the cut side then arrange on the tray. Spread the Dijon mustard on one side and pour the stock over the slices and grate the Comté cheese over.
Place in the oven for approx. 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Serve immediately.
