Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the green beans. Cook the beans for 2-3 minutes or until tender but still firm.
Remove from heat, drain and transfer immediately to an ice bath. Fully submerge the beans in the ice cold water to cool down.
To make the honey butter, place a small pot over a medium heat and melt the butter, allowing it to brown slightly – approx. 5 minutes.
With the honey in a small mixing bowl, slowly pour the warm butter in a steady stream while whisking continuously.
Season with a pinch of sea salt flakes.
Toast and chop the macadamias.
Serve the green beans dressed with the honey butter and topped with the toasted macadamias.
