Furikake fries

- To make the furikake mix, toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan and crumble the nori sheets. Mix the sesame seeds with the crumbled nori, salt, sugar, black sesame seeds, bonito flakes and chilli flakes.
- To make the sticky sauce, combine the honey, fish sauce and oyster sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat the oil to 180 C in a heavy-based saucepan or deep fryer.
- Fry the French fries in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle the sticky sauce all over the chips and toss to make sure they are all lightly coated.
- Sprinkle generously with the furikake mix and serve while still warm.
