Preparation Guidelines

Bake: Oven cook from chilled. Preheat the oven and baking tray. Remove the beef Wellington from the plastic tray and place on greaseproof paper on the preheated baking tray. Brush the pastry with milk or beaten egg for a golden colour. Bake at 200˚C, gas mark 6, for 45-55 minutes for medium and for 65 minutes for well done. Cook until golden brown. Remove from the oven and rest for 10-20 minutes before carving. All cooking instructions vary in performance, these are guidelines only.
