Preparation Guidelines

For chicken biryani: Heat oil in a pan and sauté sliced onions until golden brown. Set aside half for garnishing. Add eastern chicken biryani masala to the remaining onions and cook for a few minutes to release the flavours. Add diced chicken and cook until browned. Stir in yogurt, chopped tomatoes, and cook until chicken is tender. Layer partially cooked basmati rice over the chicken mixture, sprinkle with saffron milk (optional), and cook on low heat until rice is fully cooked and flavours meld. For pulao: Use the masala as a seasoning in your pulao recipe to add a burst of flavour to the rice and vegetables.
