- Preheat the grill to a medium heat and the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4.
- Combine the cheeses then place 35g of the mixed cheese in the centre of 4 patties. Top each cheese patty with the remaining patties. Pinch the edges to seal. You should have 4 cheese-filled patties. Grill the patties for approx. 5 minutes on either side or until cooked to your desired doneness and the cheese has melted inside. Set aside to rest for 2 minutes; it’s important to do this as the patties will be too hot to eat otherwise.
- Cook the fries according to package instructions in the oven.
- Halve the buns and slice the tomatoes and onion.
- To assemble the burgers, spread some mayonnaise on each the base of each bun then top with lettuce, a slice of tomato, a burger patty, sliced onion and ketchup. Cover with the top of each bun.
- Serve with the fries.
