- Trim the green beans
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the green beans. Cook the beans for 2-3 minutes or until tender but still firm.
- Remove from heat, drain and transfer immediately to an ice bath. Fully submerge the beans in the ice cold water to cool down.
- To make the honey butter, place a small pot over a medium heat and melt the butter, allowing it to brown slightly – approx. 5 minutes.
- With the honey in a small mixing bowl, slowly pour the warm butter in a steady stream while whisking continuously.
- Season with a pinch of sea salt flakes.
- Toast and chop the macadamias.
- Serve the green beans dressed with the honey butter and topped with the toasted macadamias.
