- Using a needle, pierce both ends of the eggshell. Move the needle around in the egg to break up the egg white and yolk. Hold the egg over a bowl and blow into the opening at one end to force the egg white and yolk out of the shell.
- Gently rinse off the shell with cold water and set aside to allow it to dry completely.
- Once completely dry, give your kids paint brushes and non-toxic paints and let them paint the eggshells.
